Seri Tanjung Trash House

Seri Tanjung Trash House

I find the maintenance of this trash house rather strange. Part of it is kept clean daily, but some of the trash is moved to the outside and not picked up by the regular pick up truck for months.

UPDATE May 15: The trash on the outside of this trash house has been picked up by this morning. That is a little more than a day after this original posting. Still after more than a month it has been there.

  2. Sorry to say, this insulting attitude is still one of the main ‘culture’ in our community.
Most of us wish to have a clean environment of our own, but rarely bother about the others particularly in ‘no man land areas’ (beyond the respective residential region)….. “Somebody got to do this…not me”
This is actually one of the biggest hurdles in dengue preventive program where environmental sanitation is one of the key factors.

Speaking of “dengue preventive program,” why is it that we are always given only 30 minutes warning before the authority comes fogging our entire dinner? Sometimes not even 30 minutes. Sometimes none at all. It actually happened.

Those who want to cooperate, will cooperate. Those who won’t, won’t. Warning notwithstanding. Dengue has been here for a long time. A 24-hour notice should not be too much to ask. Perhaps those aedes mosquitoes are too educated for the foggers. Those notice flyers may just chase them away until the next day!🙄
